MEET THE TURTLES & CHIMPANZEES (BONOBOS) WE HAVE ADOPTED

REBEL

Rebel is a Loggerhead male turtle and weighs 230 lbs. He suffers paralysis in his rear flipper and tail due to a boat strike.

BUBBLE BUTT

Bubble Butt is an adult male Green Sea Turtle. He was a victim of a boat strike and can no longer dive - hence the name 'bubble butt'.

BENDER

Bender is a Kemp's Ridley female turtle weighing 78 lbs. Bender was also hit by a boat resulting in 'bubble butt' syndrome. She also lost her front flipper due to a fishing line entanglement.

BIKORO (orphan Bonobo)

We are also supporting a chimpanzee sanctuary called Lola ya Bonobo in The Democratic Republic of Congo. Bikoro is an orphan and was kept as an illegal pet.

GLORIA (orphan chimpanzee)

We have adopted Gloria from The Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue Sanctuary in Liberia, West Africa. Gloria arrived very thin and scared and needed a lot of one on one attention in a safe and loving environment

FIFO (ORPHAN CHIMPANZEE)

Meet Fifo who is now lovingly cared for by the Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Sierra Leone. Fifo is a  2 year old female who was rescued in 2018 whilst being cruelly mistreated and  kept as an illegal pet.
